Nature of the Service

This is a private reference website. It is not part of the Garfield County Sheriff's Office, Garfield County Jail, the Colorado Department of Corrections, a court, or any other public office. No official jail, arrest, booking, or court record is stored here. The site cannot verify whether a person is in custody, arrange a release, accept a bond, correct a government file, or submit legal documents for a visitor.

The pages point readers toward official Garfield County resources and may connect visitors with independent research tools. Links can lead to the sheriff's current-inmate report, records-request information, Colorado court resources, CDOC services, or federal locators. A link is a navigation aid. It does not turn this website into the office that creates, controls, or maintains the linked record.

Acceptable Use Rules

FCRA Use Is Prohibited

Garfield County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not furnish background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. By using these pages, you agree that neither site content nor results reached through its tools will be used for a purpose governed by the FCRA, including the following decisions:

• Whether to hire, dismiss, promote, or retain a worker
• Whether to approve a tenant or make a housing decision
• Whether to extend credit or set an insurance rate
• Whether to grant a license, permit, benefit, or government-program eligibility
• Any other transaction or decision subject to consumer-reporting law

Resources Beyond Our Control
